Information Needed for Inquiry or Order.

TYPE OF MATERIAL: Alloy applicable specifications- SAE, AMS, ASTM, etc., whenever possible.

SIZE AND SECTION: Flat wire-gauge and width by decimal; show tolerances for both. Round wire-diameter by decimal; show allowable tolerances.

EDGE: Round, square, broken corner, etc.

SPECIAL SHAPES: Send print, sketch, give diagonals of rectangles, radii of corners, etc. Whenever possible, send sample of material desired.

CONDITION OF TEMPER: Define mechanical properties, ie. tensile strength, Rockwell hardness, type of annealing, etc. Max. and min. limits should be furnished when possible.

FINISH: Bare or plated (Tin-and degree of brightness,etc.)

END USE: Get the best possible product for application by describing end product, such as, spring or fastener.

PACKAGING: Give approximate size and weight of coil, spool or reel. Give length of wire to be straightened and cut with allowable tolerance. Orders are made to customers specifications. Click here for more information.
